People analytics is not just about dashboards, formulas, or sophisticated systems. At its core, people analytics is a mindset — a way of using the information available to better understand problems, identify patterns, support decisions, and strengthen HR’s ability to influence outcomes.
In this practical and approachable session, participants will be challenged to think differently about the information already available to them — from spreadsheets and reports to conversations, observations, employee feedback, and business trends.
We will explore how HR professionals can use both quantitative and qualitative data to solve real workplace problems, regardless of role, industry, level of authority, or available resources. Participants will learn practical ways to collect and validate information, look for trends and root causes, translate observations into insights, and communicate findings in a way that helps leaders and teams make better decisions.
This session is designed for HR professionals who want to move beyond simply reporting information and begin using data more intentionally to advise, influence, and create value for both people and their organizations.
Speakers:
Cassie Thompson is a People Strategy and Organizational Development leader who has been building, shaping, and strengthening workplace culture since 2009. She currently serves as Director of People Operations at Red Rover, where she partners with leaders and teams to bring people strategy to life through thoughtful training, strengths-based leadership, and intentional culture-building. Throughout her career, Cassie has been motivated by a simple belief: when people understand and play to their strengths, individuals and organizations do their best work. She is known for making complex topics practical, approachable, and—whenever possible—humorous. Cassie frequently speaks at local and national conferences on topics including organizational culture, leadership, AI in HR, and strengths-based development. She holds her SHRM-SCP certification and serves on the board of GSHRM as Professional Development Director. She is also an active mentor, particularly passionate about helping emerging professionals build confidence, clarity, and connection in their careers.

Removing Barriers to Learning: The HR Advantage of AI Avatars in Multilingual, On-Demand Training
Speaker: David Lynn & Caleb Lynn
Today’s HR teams are being asked to reach more employees, across more locations and languages, with fewer resources and tighter timelines. At the same time, many leaders are camera-shy, short on time, or not fluent in the languages their teams speak—creating unintended barriers to effective learning and communication.
This session explores how HR teams are using AI avatars to remove those barriers. Attendees will see how leaders can create realistic, professional avatars that look and sound like them, enabling consistent, on-demand training without the pressure of being on camera. We’ll also explore how avatars can deliver training in multiple languages, helping HR expand access, improve inclusion, and scale leadership presence—without sacrificing the human connection that matters most.
You’ll leave with practical examples, real use cases, and clear guidance on where AI avatars fit into an HR-led learning and development strategy.
